Ireland Retreat · October 2027
We want you to feel clear and confident when booking your place. Please read the following terms carefully before confirming your reservation.
By completing your booking and paying your deposit, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to the booking and cancellation terms below, subject to your statutory consumer rights.
1. Securing your place
A €550 deposit per person is required to secure your place at the retreat.
Your booking is confirmed once we receive your deposit and the organizers acknowledge your reservation.
The €550 deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation by the guest, except where a refund is required by applicable law or under the exceptions set out in this policy.
Your deposit forms part of the total retreat price; it is not an additional charge.
Places are limited, and we reserve accommodation in advance. Your deposit allows us to commit to venue arrangements and begin planning the retreat.
2. Payment of the remaining balance
The remaining balance of your retreat fee is due six months before the retreat start date. If you need extra support with this timeline, we can offer part payments.
For a retreat beginning on 10 October 2027, the balance would be due on 1 April 2027. If the retreat begins on a different date, the payment deadline will be adjusted accordingly and confirmed in your booking details.
You may pay the balance earlier if you wish.
We will send a reminder ahead of the payment deadline. If payment is not received by the due date, we will contact you to arrange payment and provide a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue.
If the balance remains unpaid after written notice and a reasonable grace period, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and apply the relevant cancellation terms, subject to applicable law.
3. Cancellation by the guest
We understand that circumstances can change. However, retreat places involve advance commitments to accommodation, venue hire, facilitators and other suppliers.
If you need to cancel, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. The date we receive your written cancellation will be used to determine the applicable cancellation terms.
Subject to applicable law, we propose the following cancellation schedule:
- More than 180 days before the retreat: the €550 deposit is retained. Any additional payments received will be refunded.
- 90–180 days before the retreat: 50% of the total retreat price is payable as a cancellation charge.
- 60–89 days before the retreat: 75% of the total retreat price is payable as a cancellation charge.
- Fewer than 60 days before the retreat, including non-attendance: 100% of the total retreat price is payable.
Any amounts already paid will be credited against the applicable cancellation charge. Where payments made exceed the charge lawfully payable, the difference will be refunded.
These cancellation charges are intended to reflect the costs and commitments associated with your booking, taking account of any costs saved and any income recovered by filling your place. They will be applied in accordance with applicable law.
4. Transferring your booking
If you can no longer attend, you may ask to transfer your place to another person.
Transfers are subject to our prior written approval, the replacement guest meeting any relevant participation or accommodation requirements, and the availability of a suitable room.
Please contact us as early as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to facilitate a transfer and will explain any unavoidable administrative or supplier costs before confirming it.
A transfer may provide an alternative to cancellation, but it cannot be guaranteed.
5. Cancellation or changes by the organizers
We intend to deliver the retreat as advertised. However, circumstances may arise that make cancellation or significant changes necessary.
If we cancel the retreat, you will be informed as soon as reasonably possible. You will be offered any replacement arrangements or refund to which you are entitled under applicable law.
If a full refund is legally required, we will refund all payments made towards the retreat within the applicable statutory timeframe.
We are not responsible for separate costs incurred by guests, including flights, travel insurance, visas or other travel arrangements, except where liability is imposed by applicable law. We strongly recommend that guests purchase suitable travel insurance before making non-refundable travel arrangements.
If a significant change is made to an essential element of the retreat, we will inform you and explain any applicable options and rights before proceeding.
6. Exceptional circumstances
If unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances significantly affect the retreat or travel to the destination, you may have additional cancellation and refund rights under applicable law.
Where such rights apply, they will take precedence over the standard cancellation schedule in this policy.
If you are unable to attend because of illness, injury, personal circumstances or travel disruption affecting you individually, the standard cancellation terms will generally apply, subject to any rights you have under applicable law.
We recommend travel insurance that includes cancellation and interruption cover appropriate to your circumstances.
7. Refund processing
Where a refund is due, we will confirm the amount and arrange payment using the original payment method wherever possible.
Refunds will be processed within the timeframe required by applicable law or, where no statutory timeframe applies, within a reasonable period.
Any cancellation charge will be calculated in accordance with this policy and applicable law.
8. Questions before booking
If you have any questions about the booking terms, payment deadlines or cancellation policy, please contact us before making your reservation.
We want every guest to understand the commitment involved and to feel informed when deciding whether this retreat is right for them.
By booking, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms, without prejudice to any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
